I made me a drink tonight. Okay, I made three drinks tonight. Oh my, I'm having drinks on a random Tuesday, I feel so......um, wow lost my train of thought there......
I had one hell of a day.
I just got done reading with the skids. We do this every night that they are with us. They have NEVER read with their BM. I'm not positive she CAN read. (maybe alcohol talking here?) I'm a bit anal about reading everyday. I made my children read fifteen minutes a day, EVERYDAY. When my son was in the first grade, his reading teacher asked me to have him read everyday and then write five sentences about each book he read and lo and behold at the awards ceremony, my little boy got an award for reading more books than anyone else in any grade up to third grade.
Anyway, picture envelopes came home today with the skids. Their picture day is October 1st and they'll be with BM that day. So, anyway, I asked FH how the payment for pictures was gonna go and he said "I'll pay for one kid and BM will pay for another." Well, half my good drink came out my nose and FH said "why is that funny?" He was totally serious. I said she's never paid for pictures before. He said well, she has a job now, so she can pay for one. We shall seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I also found out that I am head room mom for SD9's class and will help out with SD8's class when needed. SD9 was very excited about this. SD8 was kinda sad. I told her I would be head room mom for her next year.
SD9 has strep throat. BM called FH early this morning and told him he had to come and get SD from her work. BM never cares what our schedules are like. SD's on medication and if she does not have a fever tomorrow, she will go to school. If she has a fever, FH told BM that she will have to come and get her. BM at 3:00 said okay, I get off at 11:00 and I'll be there by 11:30 and when she called at 7:00, she told FH that she would be getting off at 1:00. FH said, what happened to getting off at 11? BM said, oh that has changed, I can't get off until 1. FH said NO - I did not turn my paperwork in today because I was picking up SD and going home to stay with her and now you will be here by 11:30 tomorrow so that I can get that work done then. BM got pretty bitchy, but she said all right. She's worried about losing her entry level position of answering phones and taking pulses. Poor BM. (anybody have a tissue?)
So, anyway, if you all remember from earlier today, BM says she's taking SD9 to pitching lesson on Wednesday if she's feeling better. Pitching lessons are directly across from my house. BM asked FH if he could come over and help with the lesson. WHAT THE FUC....?! Yes, it is helpful if there are two people there. One to catch and one to field, or stand at the batter's position. BUT COME ONNNNNNNNN! BM, call your BF and ask him! Go and get a friend, buy him/her a beer, whatever, but find someone else to HELP you. Of course, FH said no. He told her we had to go shopping tomorrow for SD9's bday party this Saturday. Of course he couldn't just say "HELL NO." So, who knows if SD9 will go to her lesson or not. BM asked for "help" last year with the lesson too, and I showed up instead of FH because he had to work. That was the last time BM even went to a lesson until now.
Wow, my attention span is short tonight, because I had a WHOLE SLEW of bitches, rants, and ramblings planned, but I'm done now - for now.
