So I've been thinking.

I think it would be a great idea if i got a cake and have a small party for the kids in the room while at disney. I already called them to let them know we will be celebrating their bdays so they will get button that says it's my bday.

I think they would like that.

Where are you staying? DH and I stayed at the Parkvue Inn two weekends ago (went to Disneyland for our anniversary). They had a bottle of wine and a gift basket, along with balloons saying "Happy Anniversary" in our room when we got there.

We will be at the all star movies in disney world. They don't do that there b/c when I called the lady asked if i wanted the #s to the places to order cake and stuff for the bdays.

Be sure to pick up B-Day pins for the kids and 1st visit pins for all of you. Wear them around the parks and you might get an extra bit of magic from the CMs and characters.

Make sure the birthday's are noted on your reservation. When the resort sees that, they may put ballons and cards in your rooms.

I've been told that when the kids wear the birthday buttons you all get special treatments, like getting into rides quicker, the characters will actually approach YOU rather then you having to wait in line to meet them, I guess at some resorts too while you are out they will put Mickey balloons with B day wishes in the room while you are out and there is also a number you can call and request character calls. They will have a random character call your hotel room when you are there to give happy birthday wishes. I hear this is usually Goofy or Mickey that makes the calls. SO EXCITING! I want to take my kids back next year and I plan to go when my youngest turns 3 and we will spend his Birthday there. There are also certain restaurants, you can look up which ones offer this but if you call ahead of time for like 20.00 they will make a Mickey cake and decorate your table all up and characters will come to your table to wish the child Happy Birthday.

Thank you ladies and yes I have been thinking about slowing down and 'smelling the roses' but I have a touring plan and I believe I can get the must dos out of the way before noon and then we can slow down.

I think I will call this # for the cake and stuff and see what they can do. thanks so much for everything.
