Wish us luck

We will be heading to three facilities tomorrow to see them. WE will finalize one from these three. Hopefully we like at least one.

And what's making it harder to send Ss to these schools/centres is that he is putting in effort to be better. He has been eating every single thing we give him. He is gaining weight again. He even talks to us a little bit every once in a while. But then we hear him crying at night so we know he's just acting like he's better.

It's a cycle. He puts in the effort then suddenly something happens and it is back to no eating and no talking. But very time he improves my Dh thinks its forever.

But my Dh is slowly realizing the centre may be the only way. Wish us luck, It is going to be tough.

p.s. I just posted this as an update.

oh good luck, Praying. Let the best place be waiting for him, so all of you can move forward in your healing...

I agree with this. As a SM who was partially responsible for sending my SS away to a therapeutic facility for a year at age 14, I speak from experience. He will probably hate you for a while, but when he gets his life back he will be thankful. My SS will be 20 soon, and I got an unsolicited hug from him for Easter and a Happy Mothers Day text last Sunday.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow and I hope you find a great place for SS.

Best of luck!! Ill be praying for all of you. I read most of your previous blogs the other day. I truly think you guys are doing the right thing!!! He just simply needs more help professionally to thrive. You all have shown him love, and that is huge, but now IMO, you need to show him that you love him enough to get him the best help out there. He needs it but may not be able to understand that right now. Hopefully he will totally get it some day down the road. Be there to support him thru it tho.

Best wishes & good luck. Keep us all posted!!
