BM's Incapable of Making Decisions
Almost always and definitely not rational ones.
She texted me earlier and said she would be here no later than 6 (sd17 and ss13 live with us full time). 6:30 rolls around, the children are waiting by the door like dogs waiting for their masters, and she finally calls.
I need to add, BM will only talk to me *joy.* She says DH is too much stress and thinks we are "friends." She first says she is not getting them and tries to convince me to let them skip extra school days this week so she can have them longer. No, not happening. Unfortunately, I am the one tasked with caring about their schooling. As it stands, sd17 is failing two classes and ss13 can barely read and write. Nope, no way.
She then asks me if she should come and get them because I am "more level headed about these things." I told her it is totally her decision. After some hemming and hawing, she decides she will get them. This will put her here between 9 and 10 pm, if she does not get lost as she normally does. It also means she will not have them back to her house till at least midnight. Irresponsibility at it's finest.
