Dh was telling me about which days he was going to take off with his bereavement and when the service was planned for. He then said... You get three days right? I confirm that yes I get three days bereavement so I would go into work today and be off the rest of the week to help him.

He then say..... Well, ironically that's the first thing my dad has ever gotten you, three day off. If he was already buried he would be rolling over in his grave at the thought of it.

That pretty much sums up my relationship with my in-laws. I feel for my dh, but I can't say I am sorry that he's gone.
