And yet again.....
The day I had planned is ruined.
For those of you who didn't see my forum post yesterday.... The owner of the daycare we use told Dh that we either need to start paying more money every week (the skids are a handful) or only bring the kids in 4 days a week. So now I have BS home with me all day Friday (very happy about this) and I have to get the skids straight from school (not happy about this). So instead of having the skids come home at 5 with Dh, I have to get them at 2.
So overall its an ok change, as I am really looking forward to having a partial day with just me and BS. Sucks having to get the skids 3 hours early, but I can deal since I was supposed to have all morning to do stuff with BS.
We had planned on going to Pump it Up (indoor bounce house arena) this morning. Just after 9 Dh calls me from work and tells me I can't go anywhere from 10-12 because he made an apt for the cable company to come upgrade the internet.
So that means no pump it up, as the playtime for Bs's age group is 10-1130. No time to go anywhere before 10, can't get anywhere and back in less than an hour. So unless this person gets here soon, my day is shot. Naptime for BS is 1230 to 130..... Just enough time to leave and get to the wood's school.
So much for a fun day for BS and I.

Yeah, I'm sure this guy will be here after 12. They never come at the start of the time window. This shit always happens whenever I have something I am looking forward to.
And the worst part is that BS knew we were going to go do the bounce houses, so he was sad that now we are sitting in the house all day long.

He asked what I was doing
He asked what I was doing today, but I was a bit non-commital because I didn't want to hear it from him that I was taking bs to pump it up and leaving the skids out (they all really like going). So I just said I was probably going to take BS for a bike ride or hit the park. Had I known he was going to call for this apt, is have told him to make it for this afternoon after I had all the kids home.
So when he called at his next break, he had made the apt already.

And the repair person just left. A whopping 20 minutes before I have to go get the skids. Fun fun day
