When I first meant husband 2 I had true intentions of accepting the "package deal". Yes, this was the first REAL relationship I had had since after my divorce from a CHOMO (child molester). I had never experienced what it was like to live life as a blended family BEFOREHAND. OMG, I was so niave.

The ex-witch befriended me. She told me I got myself a good guy. SHE THANKED ME FOR BEING SO GOOD TO HER KIDS AROUND THE HOLIDAYS. I WAS INFORMED SHE WAS INSANELY JEALOUS OF ME AT THIS POINT. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THAT WOULD MEAN UNTIL LATER ON. I love husband enough that I tried to get along with birth mother to avoid putting stress on our relationship.

Then, birth mother invited me over for coffee. She continued to befriend me. Eventually, I grew to trust her....In the end it was just a ploy to figure out what made me tick. What got my goat....What made me mad. Then, she would set up scenarios based on what made me tick THAT EVENTUALLY CAUSE PROBLEMS husband 2 AND I. TODAY birth mother STILL USES THESE TACTICS TO GET STUFF STARTED. FOR INSTANCE, PAWNING OFF HER KIDS ON ME WHEN I VERY SELDOM GET A BREAK FROM MY KIDS 24/7 THANKS TO CHOMO.

Then, I fell off of the wagon because I can NOT stand her anymore. I could take so much of someone constantly trying to be me. I could only take so much of someone's backstabbing. I could only take so much of her games to turn the kids against me. Like for instance, she would repeat stuff I would say. It would be stuff I thought another parent should about a child's activities and ONLY in their best interest. I could only take so much of her pawning the stepkids off on me everytime I turn around.

NOW, I LEARNED TO NOT BE SO REACTIVE TO HER OR USED TACTICS TO PREVENT HER FROM LIVING OFF OF THE GLORY OF MY STRESS.
NOW I CAN NOT STAND TO EVEN LOOK AT HER, LET ALONE BE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH HER.
