Good morning Ladies and
Good morning Ladies and Gents.
I have a question, and yes, my first instinct these days is to ask all of you.
I have had an insaaaaane few weeks and on Friday night I have decided to have a couple of girlfriends over some for wine and snacks. I'm looking for something a little bit different than my ususal chips and dip (I love appetizers for dinner!) but I won't have a lot of time to prep.
Anyone have any good girl-night appetizer recipes???

do a cheese platter!!! with a few diff crackers and a couple fruits on there. one definite inclusion (if u can find it) would be guava paste. yummmmmm
Add some prosciutto or summer
Add some prosciutto or summer sausage to the olives, cheese, and crackers.
Two cheese options that can also be dessert-like:
-Goat cheese and a nice jam or fruit butter(cherry, plum, blueberry)
-Brie drizzled with honey
Charcuterie is perfect. I do
Charcuterie is perfect. I do this with DH once a week. Three cheeses, one mild blue, a soft and a hard cheese. Three meats and a baguette, crackers, grapes, strawberries, some almonds or other nuts and then I do a honey comb. Always put honey on the blue and it is awesome. A nice bottle of wine and cheesecake and you are done. If you want cheese and meat recommendations, let me know. Put it all on a couple of nice cutting boards and small plates and you are golden.

Do they like mushrooms? I have a recipe for stuffed mushrooms that I usually get at least one or two requests for the recipe...
I like mushrooms! recipe
I like mushrooms! recipe please
Okay so just get the normal
Okay so just get the normal mushrooms. Take out the stems and cut off a small slice on the top so they will sit on their heads without rolling around.
Chop up the stems and slices. Saute them in a pan with whatever oil and whatever spices you like (I use olive oil and italian seasonings).
Mix 1-2 packages of cream cheese with some parmesan cheese (I don't have precise measurements, the more the better, usually)
Once the mushroom bits are browned up, strain the oil out and let them cool a bit. Then mix them in the cream cheese. Use this mixture to over stuff the mushrooms.
Place in a 350 oven for 20-25 minutes. The cream cheese will get a little bit of nicely browned tops to it.
MMMMMMMMMMM - never any left overs in my house.
Yes, please.

I like making fresh
I like making fresh mozzarella with basil and tomatoes as an appetizer for girls night. Slice a nice juicy tomato, add a basil leaf per slice and a slice of mozzarella. Make it in rows to look pretty.
Drizzle olive oil and balsamic when ready to serve.
