My RO against BM is expiring
On June 6th, 8 days from now, the restraining order between BM and myself will be expired. I wonder how long it will take her to contact me for the first time? What do you guys think? I'd like to take a poll. When will BM contact me for the first time after the RO expires? LOL Some of you might remember, when her and BF's RO expired last year (which stipulated that their contact could only be about SS), she emailed him the next day and said that she wanted to remind him that it was expired and started talking about how much she missed him and wanted him to come back home. To tell the truth I didn't even know the date that ours was over until BF asked me the other day and I had to get it out of my purse and look at it. But BM is just like that...she remembers every single significant date and time that anything happens or is supposed to happen. Well, suffice to say that the first contact won't be coming from me! I'll personally be shocked if she makes it 3 days without emailing me.

Contact
Well I have been there....had RO with BM too. Prior to it ending I changed my phone number and my daily schedule at bit. She has never had my email. I made it impossible for her to contact me. eventually she gave up. YOu cant change her but you can change you. If she does try to contact you, dont talk hang up the phone, walk away, just say nothing. ITs difficult but the best way to go. Trying to reason with an unreasonable person is impossible!!!!!!!!!

I think she'll do the same thing to you, that she did to your BF, e-mail you w/ a" reminder", hopefully you don't get a phone call, if so, do just what doglover1 suggests.....it's just not worth it to give her ANY attention.~"I'll get you my pretty...and your little dog too!"~

I would go renew it.. That shouldnt be too hard. I had a ro against my ex bf's brother and got it renewed every year after that we were still together.. I would just go in to court, request the extension and they would grant it.
Check it out.. might make your life easier.

I remember everything you went through to get that RO! If it is possible, I would probably get it exended. No use dealing with that kind of crazy if you don't have to!
For those that didn't know...
A couple of people have asked why I got the RO in the first place. Well, in a nutshell (no pun intended)...
BM is obsessed with me to the point of insanity. I have thousands - literally, thousands of emails from BM which I have kept and archived since BF and I started dating. She has made up fake people and posed as them on the internet to try to get me to talk to them and tell them things that she thinks I wouldn't tell her. She has stalked me for several years, following me in her car around town, taken pictures of me entering and leaving my home and car...she's been to every place that I've lived since BF and I started dating and always knew my new address within days of me moving. She's showed up to restaurants where BF and I were eating and caused scenes. She's contacted my workplace on several occasions to file complaints about me and try to get me fired. She tried to get me arrested for practicing medicine without a license. She's contacted my cellphone company and utility companies and posed as me to try to get my personal account information (luckily I put flags and passcodes on all of my accounts before she did this, so I was notified immediately and she gained no access). She has hired a private investigator to get information on me and stalk me. She has also spent hundreds of dollars on the internet paying websites for my personal information (which luckily she never gained, just ended up wasting her money).
I could keep going on, but I think everyone gets the gist
