Not breaking my plans to babysit
So my SS8s BM is going on vacation next week and asked DH to watch SS while she is gone(I don't know why now because she never has asked this before). Well DH got the dates wrong and told me it was this week....which would have been fine but next weekend we are supposed to go out of town for DH b-day. We have only had this planned for over a month now. I just happened to look at the calendar and called him to let him know something else would have to be arranged for SS because we have plans and this isn't our weekend to have him anyway....not that I care about having him because he is a good kid but I have plans....sorry. DH says....Hmmmm I will have to think on this one. I just said ok and hung up. Think on what? You can think all you want while I am headed to the beach and you are sitting at home!!!
I don't know what is going on with DH lately. We have the skids every other weekend and now all of a sudden he wants to start getting SS8 during the week too. I don't know where this is coming from but I am not too fond of this idea. I don't want to have to deal with skids when I get off work and have to be at work the next day. Someone is going to have to get him up, get him ready for school, feed him breakfast and take him to school because we don't live in his district. That someone is NOT going to be me.....and I don't see DH doing all this.
UGH.....he is so frustrating sometimes....well a lot of the time! LOL!

If he doesn't take care of
If he doesn't take care of his own son, then it doesn't get done now does it. THIS IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY OR YOUR HEADACHE. If your DH wants him more often then he will have to take care of him more often...right? explain this to DH. Tell him " if you want SS more often, fine...but if your not home to take care of him and meet his needs, then it doesn't get done". I told my husband this and he sung a different tune afterwards let me tell ya.

Yeah he must have fell and
Yeah he must have fell and hit his head a little too hard. Had this been the situation when we met...well let's just say...we would not be married. I really do not mind SS8. He's a great kid....very polite, great manners, sweet and loving. But he is SUPER hyper! He is ALL boy ALL the time and he drains my energy...I can't deal with that on worknights. It takes me a day to recover when he goes home as it is!
