Soo it's late and Dh is having a poker game so I've gotten some free computer time, yay me! haha

while browsing thru some posts I noticed something remarkable that dtzyblnd said. She stated to another poster who has a sil that is bff's with bm and using the excuse that it's for the kids, well her dtzyblnd basically stated that if a sil tries to say she's up bm's ass (not her words exactly, of course) for the kids, like to keep seeing the kids, that her bf should remind his sister that he is the link to the kids, not the ex... Why is it that some just do not get this??? lol. I feel like anonymously sending that comment to my mil because this is her whole defense as to why she's now up bm's ass... even though when dh and I started dating mil and bm had no relationship whatsoever and mil NEVER spoke to bm. It's silly how some people try to use that excuse but it's like, hello the bm did not birth this child via immaculate conception, your said family member has the child also and can provide visits to you, not just bm. gah.

Anyway, I just loved the comment and wanted to touch on it, because it's something I've always felt but didn't know how to put into words and dtzy nailed it.

You're so right about them being wolf pack like, like saying we're the boss so know who to bow down to... pfft, sure. I think they forget who their son/brother is getting the nana from and how it can quickly get taken away if they act like an ass. lol. not to be vulgar but ya know. I know SOME men will side with the mothers/sil or whoever is acting crazy but if that's the case, it's about time to evaluate if you really want someone like that as your partner.

That's I-m so happy freaking awesome but SO true!!! lol. I don't know if you watch the housewives of new jersey but this totally reminds me of a woman named Theresa on that show, she recently told her brother to choose his blood or something over his wife. It was insane. I don't get how someone like a sister would even think "oh yeah, my brother will dump his wifes feelings out the window to consider mine." I know for damn sure if any one of my brothers stepped out of line with my dh they'd have their ass chewed and if it didn't stop I'd have one less brother.

My dh is staying friends with an ex gf for the sake of ss16. I hate it and it's disturbing to me. I have fought it and fought it and fought it, to no avail.

omg I know! I don't comment too much because I've only been in the whole step parenting life for about 2 years so I don't feel that confident sometimes with what I'd do but this woman is always so dead on, I always love reading her comments. I've learned SO much from everyone on this site but she is definitely one poster that I've absorbed a lot of helpful information from based on comments she's made.
