So Bm has been at her job for almost a year I think, and from what I understand, this is the longest she's ever held a job. Well on Friday she let dh know she lost her job. We knew it was coming because ss was saying his mommy needed to win the lottery more (apparently she's always buying those scratch lottery tickets) because she doesn't have enough money because she lost he job.

Anyway, we're In for some drama I'm sure because the reason she let dh know is because she went and applied for state assistance and she told him she's going to go ask for a review of child support because she will "need" more child support money since she's out of work. She brought it up to tell him she wanted to "warn" him so he isn't "blindsided" when they take more money from his check. (Suddenly she wants to be nice I guess lol) Thankfully tho, we called child supp and asked if she'll get an increase because she's not working and they said that here in our state if ss is of school age (which he is ) that child support will be computed at min wage 40 hrs a week, which is fine because that's what it already was being computed at. Small blessings right? I just need to prepare mentally because I know she's going to blow a gasket when she finds out there will be no increase. Child support also advised us that if she gets on assistance, which she is, they will withhold whatever they help her with from her child support so I know she won't be happy about that either. It seems NM is becoming more proactive in trying to prevent free loading.

Ahh, wish us luck in the days to come with whatever drama she tries to cause.
