QUICK QUESTION
If you opened your email and it was still signed in under your husband and saw a sent email sent to a stranger that said
"You have one intoxicating smile, take care"
Would you be pissed or not??? Am I overreacting???!!!

uh no id be pissed
i dont care if u were snooping or not, it warrants explanation...

~the late great George Carlin
well i didn't intend to
but when i saw the email was still signed in under his username..
i'll admit i SNOOPED..
Ummmm yeah...
What??? Hurt and pissed would be an understatement and he would have a hell of alot of explaining to do!

that's what I was thinking...
I wanted to wrap my hands around his neck...!!!! He's still trying to explain, but I'm not liking any of what he's saying... WTF! I JUST married this guy!!! I have never even suspected him of doing anything like this before, and I'm as nosy as they come! It was his idea to move the marriage up to January!!!
I would be way passed mad,
skip being upset, and onto pissed off!"~waiting on the world to change~"
I am PISSED
Is this guy serious?
what did he tell you
to try to explaine?
There is no explination. Telling another woman her smile is intoxicating is grounds for divorce or murder. You pick.
I agree...
I have to say that I agree with stepmom Jen totally...In fact, my husband would probably have to call an ambulance for a trip to the hospital to have my size 8 and a half Nike removed from his anal orifice!!
I also wouldn't hesitate to email the individual, tell them who I am (Mrs so and so), and ask Miss "intoxicating smile" who she is and why she is corresponding with my husband!!

You should be pissed off!
It doesn't matter if you were snooping on purpose or not if he is writing that it is Trouble. Dying to know what the excuse was for that type of behavior. You really have to look at the choice of words to it wasn't just "I really like your smile. It really cheers me up." but Intoxicating! Wow! and you just married him! Make your man grovel he deserves it.
Exactly
He is still groveling said it was absolutely the "wrong choice of words" NO SH*T!!! I am just amazed.. I have no idea what to think at this point.... Intoxicating..WHAT???!!!
And that's what I said, not "cute smile" or anything like that but intoxicating which has a description of :
a feeling of wild excitement; rapture; frenzy
Are you f*ckn' kiddin' me?!
Just my two cents
he shouldnt be emailing or complimenting any other woman besides you or family..I would have my husbands butt if he did that..
You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.
Sir Winston Churchill..
That is just messed up....
Wrong choice of words, are you kidding me is right? Shit I would be doing more to find out how Intoxicating her smile really is... That would not go over well with me... I be talkin to her, and telling him bye bye.
Obviously the choice of words is not the issue.
However, it very well may be completely innocent. I think more info and context is needed. At least is would be for me if I found those choice of words in my wife's left open e-mail account.
Best regards,
Thanks
Thanks for your comment..
AAgh!
Yes, I would be pissed initially but I also need more info here. Who was he e-mailing? It could be nothing, but I sure would want to find that part out and pronto!

geez
Intoxicating...is not a word you use everyday, so how can it be a mix up of words?...what the hell was he smiling about to her...
more then likely he is innocent and he was just being nice and this women just went to the next level.... check it out,,,then find her and show her your INTOXICATING fist in her mouth....
I'd be mad too
Any man who would tell a woman she has an intoxicating smile...HELLO he is flirting with her. I would really be interested in knowing how he tried to explain this away....
He was emailing
a perfect stranger from Md
A stranger?
If it's a perfect stranger...How does she know what her smile looks like???

You have every right to an explanation
I would be passed p*ssed off, I'd be calling my attorney and filing for divorce. But first, I'd send the person he was emailing an email. If she didn't know DH was married, hopefully she'd be p*ssed off too. I'd also type her email address in the "search inbox" option and search for her email in the "sent emails" category and read them. I'd also look her up on the web, facebook, myspace, and anywhere else. If I found out she had a husband or significant other, I'd tell him about the affair via email, phone, or letter, and send him copies and records of all their email and any other exchanges that have taken place between them.
Jack his *ss!
WTF - this is very strange behavior, especially for a newlywed???

a stranger from MD?
Must be a online thing then. I'd look through the pictures he's downloaded latley, maybe you can look at her smile that way?
Hmmm.....
How about you send an email to this "stranger?" Pretend you are DH and say something like you don't think this is working out. See what the reaction is. Then you'll really know. I'll bet that smile won't be so intoxicating any more. More like toxic.

Red Flag!!
This is how my BF caught BM cheating on him. He found numerous emails she wrote to other men and they were very sexually graphic. I had read them and I am no prude but they grossed me out. BM also sent pictures and they were XXXXXXX!
Play the
same game.I believe in giving people a taste of thier own medicine.Just to make them understand how you may feel.If i were you i would have some flowers sent to yourself at your house and put from a secret admirer. If he gets pissed just tell him that now he knows how you feel about his email. When you are married there are certain boundries you dont cross and he crossed it.What goes around comes around !!!!
I absolutely agree
I think I will definitely give him a taste of his own crap!
Investigate, investigate...
I'd be launching a full investigation on the computer and checking his phone records as well. Don't let him know you are snooping otherwise he will do everyting to cover his tracks but I'm sure if he's up to no good he already has. How did he meet this person? Is he browsing/or a member of online dating sites? Check them all....match.com, cupid.com, etc. to find out if he has a profile. Does he have a myspace or facebook? Is he portraying himself as single or what? Check the history of the computer (although if he is being sneaky, he would have already deleted it). I would also send miss "intoxicating smile" an email and inform her that she is corresponding with a married man and what are the intentions. Keep a very close eye on him!!
Hmmm
Did you check his inbox as well??

Of course
Nothing there
Yeah and I would
also tell him you want him to log in to his account while you are there and let you read his stuff. See what he says to that!

So did you find out who this person was?
Stranger from MD? I would be all over his ass about this one. I would look in his email account and see what he is up to. This is a major red flag. I would also email that person and find out what was going on. Any updates since you posted this???
