*Note: this is a continuation of my last post about getting BM's CS lowered - http://www.steptalk.org/node/193428

So we get the skids back this weekend, and DH came back with some interesting news. The last time we saw them, their mother took them to Marineland - one of the more expensive amusement parks in the country. Anyway, DH told me what BM told HIM she spent there, and I couldn't believe it. She spent $1000...ALL IN ONE DAY...on herself, her BF, and 2 kids... :jawdrop:

Now let me tell you first that: 1) she gets $1100/month CS from DH (which is probably where she got the money to spend), and 2) the rent on her new house is $1100...which pretty much eats up all her CS. I know she gets upwards of about $2000 from the gov't for Baby Bonus and whatnot, but with her rent, bills and groceries to buy, she's gonna feel the pinch this month - and guess who she is gonna blame for not being able to pay her bills? I mean, who the f*** does she think she is? Donald Trump? How does she think she can spend that amount of money, BRAG about it, and NOT think that it's gonna come back to bite her in the butt?!? This is the same woman who spent $36,000 (that she got for the kids' "disability" from the gov't) in ONE WEEKEND, so it's not really a surprise.

I know it's none of my business, but how can you seriously spend $1000 in ONE DAY? I can't wrap my head around it. And with this higher rent she has to pay now, and back-to-school shopping coming up...AND a reduced CS??? If THAT isn't Karma, I don't know what is! When DH was with his lawyer discussing the reduction, he was asking him about all his expenses (what he pays for rent/bills/gorceries, if he has any expensive hobbies, etc)...well, they should ask BM about HER expenses, because she sure as hell isn't using CS to pay for rent or bills or food!

And SD10 told me that they already got an eviction notice and she's well aware that "they couldn't pay rent because they went to Marineland". I mean, that's just sad. But BM made her bed, so she can lay in it! I almost feel bad that DH is reducing CS, but with this latest bit of news, I think it's for the better! The more money BM has, the more she'll spend it on stupid frivolous things (like the new piercing she got while at Niagara Falls). DH and I spent $1300 this past July on a cottage rental...for a WHOLE WEEK...not just ONE DAY!

The other day, SD10 was asking me if DH was rich (because of the new tablet he got after his broke - mind you it was the least expensive one at the store), and I just told her that "No, DH isn't rich. We're just good at saving our money". AND SD10 was going on about the new iPhones that BM was gonna get them for their bdays this year... I guess she'll have to scrap that idea! And seriously, what 10-yr-old needs an iPhone? I got my first cellphone when I was 20 yrs old!

BM doesn't know yet that her CS is being lowered, so it'll be quite the show when she finds out. She's probably thinking next month's $1100 CS will help pay down her rent debt...

Oh well...Karma...All I have to say! }:)

Back in 2009, DH went back to court to have the CS lowered and Judge ordered it. BM threw a huge fit in the court. I can't make it on what he pays now, blah, blah, blah. The next day she takes the kids to Canada on vacation and doesn't tell DH and purchased her self a new Lincoln Navigator, cash.

They are so CRAZY!!!

I remember BM coming back with skids from a MONTH LONG vacation (taking them out of school for it!) to the other side of the country...and freaking out because the CS hearing (that SHE requested) had the CS go DOWN! She called up screeching her head off about it.
