haha..my EH and his view on child support..lol

I get next to nothing a week in child support (let's just say enough to fill my gas tank - I drive an SUV). I used to get alot more but than he got laid off for a year..and he brought me to court..I was fine with that..I mean the guy wasn't working and has other kids..so they lowered it..lo and behold we find out two years later he was back to work for a year and kept it a secret so that I wouldn't go back to court. I never did even after I found out.

Fast forward..his company totally shuts down the yard for good..he is out of work..and his unemployment ran up. For two months now I haven't gotten any $$..and while it's next to nothing it WAS something..so I'm actually nice enough to call him up and let him know that DOR has him in arrears of a couple hundred now. He tells me "well that is cuz' you didn't go to court and tell them I'm not working" LMAO! OMG! SERIOUS?

Ok - so YOU the one who is NOT working but "Get this" drive a brand new maxima?????? just had a new baby too..but anyways..YOU are the one that should go to court and file the papers..I'm supposed to take time off from MY job..go to court and tell them you shouldn't pay me? YEA RIGHT..how about get off your lazy azz and do it yourself..or better yet get a job to support your FOUR kids..

PS. He sees NONE of these kids (of his own lazy choice)...

I just started laughing, said bye..and hung up..LOSER!

Ask him what he'd think about paying $1500 a month!

That being said, he needs to be paying WAAY more than what he paid you before. Not as much as $1500, but waay more than than what he previously paid you. Is he looking for a job? How come he can buy a new car for himself, but not pay you CS? I don't understand some people. We are now the CPs and BM's folks pay us CS. BM was ordered to pay us $100 a month in CS. We turned to our state's attorney general's office for help. Your attorney general's office can offer you the same assistance, and probably has a lot of info on this topic on their website.

He sounds a lot like the guy BM is dating...doesn't work, has several kids with several different women (7 kids with 7 women) and he doesn't see OR pay CS for ANY of them! It makes me sick. I know firsthand that bitter parents try to keep the other parent out of their kids' lives out of spite, but I don't understand how people can want to not see their kids.

Being a BM ....I can completely understand your frustration about getting very lil CS or none at all - while they have new toys. Isnt that why there are private detectives?

She works as a waitress two days a week at a small diner and gets welfare.

I think he may be dealing drugs on the side (one of the reasons I left him YEARS ago)

How can a "wife" get welfare if the husband works? And well, if he's dealing drugs, I don't think that you could really do much about getting that income counted...sigh...
