Silly BM
So BM called and spoke to the kids last and then hung up. About not even 2 minutes later she calls back and DH looks at me and says "It's dumbass again" & I said "Just answer it".
BM wanted to talk to me and I looked and my DH and loudly said "I have shit to say to her and will not speak to her". She wanted to talk to me about taking SD to one of BM friend's daughter's birthday party, ummmm HELL NO! SD doesn't see or talk to any of the kids from her old school or from when she cheered 2 yrs ago. Also there's too big of a chance BM would show up to the party and she's only allowed supervised visitation through the parenting time center or if her mother is here in town to supervise.
What is wrong this with chick, I think she was dropped on her head many times as a baby

Because if we don't she'll call 20 to 30 more times and/or text a crazy number of times....basically just drives us crazy. It's easier just to answer
This is what our BM would do.
This is what our BM would do. I found it much easier to put the phone on silent and let it go to VM 20 times rather then DH answering the phone b/c they can't have a conversation. BM is completely incapable of having a conversation with DH without seeming like she has TS. So I would just document all of the VM's and texts.
I know it's difficult but I found out very early on that BM would continue calling whether DH had answered the question already or not. It was a lose/lose for us so that's how we started handling it.
With what I have read on your situation, it could go either way so I do get why he would answer. I just know that wouldn't work for us.

OK, I can understand answering the phone. What I don't understand is that he actually told you she wanted to talk to you. He should have immediately just told her "No you don't need to talk to my wife." and hung up.

The look on my DH's face was shock, so I don't think he really knew what to say. But the reason she wanted to talk to me was because I do everything with the kids since DH work all the time, her words not ours.
