A fascinating look inside the mind of a pissed off bio dad
They arrived home with skid3 (sd16) in full pity me mode, attempting to deny all responsibility for any of this being her fault. Her make up was melting down her face from the crocodile tears. Yes. Make up. That same substance her father grounded her from.
Step one:
DH took her phone and tablet. Logged into her facebook, instagram, snap chat, kik etc accounts that she conveniently left herself logged into, changed the passwords and canceled all the accounts. All email notifications of any attempt or activity on the accounts now goes to his email. Home computer is now password protected as well. He did keep possession of the phone and tablet. He has not decided if or when she will be getting them back.
Step Two:
he searched her purse and room and pulled out all make up or anything that could remotely be used as make up. Literally he took the water color paint set and sharpie markers. Due to her being deceitful and wearing makeup despite being grounded, she now will not be getting make up back until "at least new years".
Step Three:
She now "lives" in the den/ what used to be my computer room. Computer is removed. Her actual bedroom has mirrors and she is grounded from mirrors. She also shares that room with the sister and he isn't going to punish skid1 for skid3 being a twit. He even stapled a sheet to the wall, around the window in the den so she could not see her reflection in the glass.
Step Four:
He literally is in the process of removing the mirrors from the kids bathroom! :jawdrop: The boys have a mirror in their room, skid1 has a mirror in her room. so they have other ways of checking their appearance. Skid3 gets nothing. She has one brush and DH is allowing her one minute to brush her hair in the morning and repeat in the evening.
Step Five:
ALC requires those lovely uniforms. She out grew hers so DH is going shopping. She is allowed no access to anything that resembles an accessory, he took the rings off her hands, her earrings, necklace and even some silly charm she had dangling from her book bag. She is not allowed anything but a single black ponytail holder for her hair. She has her choice of leaving it down, or having it up in a pony tail that's it.
He basically left the kid with school uniforms, one pair of sneakers, white socks, one brush, one ponytail holder, a bar of irish spring and a bottle of 2 in 1 pert plus that's been in the cabinet for god knows how long as no one likes it.
I am sure if he thinks of it when he goes to walmart later that he will come home with white granny panties in her size and the ugliest most 'functional but fugly' bras they have.
I have to shake my head and laugh. He allows them to get away with soooo much but when he is finally done he is well and truly D.O.N.E.!! Is some of it overboard? Probably. Esp the sheet stapled to the wall, but hey she pissed OFF her dad, she gets to reap his repercussions!!

LOL I am laughing my ass
LOL I am laughing my ass off!! Repeatedly! DH is in rare form and the lectures are STILL ongoing!
And she will be going to work with DH. Apparently there are LOTS of fleet vehicles that need to be washed and detailed and she is apparently just the delinquent to do it!
Only long term punishment
Only long term punishment really is the make up and cell phone. The rest he has decided she can 'earn' back by 'earning' the right to go back to her school.
Make up will be the first of the year and he is going to get her a non camera phone for use once she earns her phone back. He still has not stated when that will be though, its return is based off attitude, behavior and her ability to restrain herself from telling the world how gorgeous she is.
I was going to say the same
I was going to say the same thing. Too grand of a gesture to live up to.
Sounds one step above the
Sounds one step above the grounding my dd got at 14 for her fake fb and email accounts to "chat" and get together with 18 y/o boy. Thank goodness she screwed her head on.
