What is wrong with BM?
So i spoke to BF about BM being pregnant and he said hes glad that bm is not pregnant from him. and that hes not bothered by it. I told him that i remember one time when I spoke to BM she said to me that she didnt want to be with anyone because she didnt want to confuse SD more than she already is... now when i look at it how confused does she think SD is gonna be now looking at her mother that just got pregnant from a man that is just her friend. And SD was 8 when BM and my BF split and now she is 9 so there isnt really much of a difference. SD told me that when her mother told her that she started crying because it wasnt from her dad its from a man that she doesnt even know. But BM and BM's sisters painted a pretty picture for SD and told her how she will be a big sister and be able to do things for the baby.. I actually felt bad for SD but I explained to her that eventually being that her mother and dad are split that she will have sisters and brothers from different dad or mom.... But its not happening with me cause I do not want anymore kids but I didnt tell her that. I have my 1 boy that is 9 and I am happy with that. Should I have explained to her in a better way? Im not sure I tried to do what i can.

It's hard, knowing the situation. What is that BM teaching her young daughter? Kids learn by example, after all.
You let her know in a loving way, that she would probably not always be an only child, that she will have 1/2 sisters & brothers, perhaps. But what a way for her mom to do it. Way to go, BM.

it would damage SD, according to BM, for her to be with someone else. But her being preggy with someone that isn't her mate won't. It never ceases to amaze me on how the BM's can be so high and mighty. Thier poo doesn't stink. They are the best moms. Step Mom will never be a decent mother to her kids let alone BM's kids. Step mom will always be a terrible wife to DH, lord knows BM did it better. And everything BM does is right, hence get pregnant by her friend, and everything DH and new wife do is wrong, (like fall in love and be together).
Today is a BM hating day for me.
I'm sure SD will be fine. She'll love being a big sister.
I just think it's funny that the BM is still on her moral high horse! LOL!
