But why do I have to suffer for it? Whenever Thunderfoot is grounded she stays up my ass constantly! I spent all day cleaning. I am tired. I just wanted to relax for a minute before DH gets home and we are on the go again. I took a shower and gave the puppy a bath and grabbed a snack. The puppy falls asleep on the floor...I turn on Breaking Bad and am in chill mode. HERE she comes and fucks it all up. Wakes the puppy and gets him riled into beast mode and starts asking 100 questions. NOW she thinks she is going to be an actress because it's apparently SO easy. I told her, "You really need to set your goals on a more realistic career. I am not saying don't follow your dreams but COME ON!" Then she started asking about how it's going to be when we move to Florida. I asked, "What do you mean?" She said, "I just bet all the girls there are sluts and bitches and I won't fit in." I just said, "Well with that attitude, I guarantee you won't." Kid... get the fuck out of my room with this shit!!!

OMG she sounds like a horror! And that MOUTH and attitude! How old is this one? Do what I do and tell her to go play in the basement where all of your toys are, or outside because the weather is nice.....Maybe she'll get the idea that you don't want her around and at the same time you haven't done anything wrong or said anything to directly insult her. Rub the puppy's belly, he'll drift back off to sleep in a wink.
My SD13 who identifies as a boy is all pissed. I come downstairs and SDog in his diaper is backed up against the door going from the kitchen to the garage. He NEVER sits there. I had my earbuds in earlier and I didn't hear when SD13 put the garage door up. Her latest thing is drawing crap all over my asphalt driveway with chalk. I finally just told her tonight not to draw on the driveway. She just looked at me, confused. I asked her how old she was? Four? "No," she replied in a frumpy tone. Then I asked her if she was going to play hopscotch? ::crickets:: I told her to get inside because I was feeding the dogs. SDog gets his diaper checked when she gets home from school and at dinner. SD13 took his diaper off and piss was rolling down the pad because he had JUST wet himself. Probably when he saw ME come into the kitchen. }:) SD13 says "Ew," and I can't help but ask when the last time she let him out was. She lied right to my face and said after school, an hour and a half earlier. No you didn't, you ass (I think this to myself) because it's only been an hour and a half, so you deserve to have yet another pissy diaper in your hands.
All the while her wet clothes are sitting in the washer and I'm not reminding her to move them to the dryer until tomorrow night when I start laundry. Now she'll go cry to Daaaah-deeee that I'm not supportive.
All because I parent the stupid skid now and then, when it involves SDog. I have enough piss in my house. Just scrubbed my bedroom carpet by the back door where there was pee. I told DH about this weeks ago. He conveniently forgets so I have to parent HIM.
Did I mention that SDog lifts his leg and marks on my bedpost now, too? Maybe you feel a little better now lol?

Bless you! Thunderfoot is 16 and in total denial. Nothing is her fault... She's a wonderful artist ... She could totally be an actress because it's not that hard and she will be hotter when she gets older! (Noooo she won't) I told her looks have nothing to do with acting... They might help but that's not the reason you go into acting. And if it were ... She better give that up real quick! She's not ugly per se...but she's not winning any beauty contests!

No you didn't misunderstand. She does that all the time when she is grounded. The last time she did it, DH and I were both in our room watching a movie. I think it was a Thursday night. She comes in and plops down on the bed, then asked DH if he wanted a massage. We both KNEW she was up to something. I just left the room. I wish she WOULD NOT come in here and I have done my best to make her feel uncomfortable when she does...she just doesn't get the hint for some reason.
