Here we go again with BM changing her mind about SD16. This is the weekend before midterms. SD16 had asked last Thursday if she was going home for a visit to her BM. DH was out of town all week for work and the kid hadn't spoken to me once while he was gone. I told her that she would have to check with her dad as I knew he would be tired from traveling and probably would see no reason for her to go to BM's when she is going there after midterms a few days later. DH agreed and said it was all settled. BM said she didn't think she should come either- after all she would be coming for her midterm break in 4 days.SD16 threw a hissy fit and wouldn't give it up.Then BM called DH and said that maybe she should come home after all. My input of SD16's need to study for midterms so she can pass was vetoed.I guess it wouldn't make much difference now as she flunked her math test and now has 3-E's and a D. We still don't know if BM is taking her back as sh has changed her mind 3 times in the past week.If BM would just back off and let us parent her SD16 might realize that she can't always get her own way and settle in here.It is really bothering me that we have been unable to help her.SD looks so depressed.She also was mad because I had my oldest friends over on Saturday night for a few hours. SHe told BM that she could barely stand the thought of some one coming into our house and bothering her.DH made her come downstairs and eat with us and then she disappeared upstairs.I think she needs psychiatric help.
