A very Merry Christmas!
I am a lucky on to get done early today and off all day tomorrow.
We have a quiet Christmas this year. My mom is coming along with SS23 and SS19 with his GF. Since SS19 needs to be told to be anywhere 2 hours in advance for him to be on time, I am just going to cook and have everything ready by noon and they can come when and if they want. For SS19 it's a gift grab anyway. Sorry kiddo, you literally just got socks and underwear to open.

Merry Christmas!!!
We have a half day at work so I will be getting some CLove papering done with hair and nails (maybe) and definitely go to the heated gymn.
It will be a busy but quiet Christmas. Christmas Eve is with SiL who loves to cook and who is "on my side" as regards Toxic Troll and Feral Forger. She lives alone with her big dog and her home overlooks a beautiful valley. She lives 20 mins away.
Christmas Day will be my parents and me and husband. Prime Rib and hang out. Sweet and simple and they live 20 mins away.
Day after Christmas will be a smallish Husband Family reunion. Other SIL who loves to cook and lives 0 mins away.
So - no real travel, dont have to really cook or clean and no pressure.
But I just know that there will be yet another drama from the Toxic Troll Court of Destruction with the Triangulation Twins.

Well, it was going to be a
Well, it was going to be a quiet holiday with just my mom and us, but DH had a COVID exposure yesterday, so no Xmas eve with mom, and probably no Xmas day either. We will take home tests Christmas morning to see what's what. Also DH is high risk, so worrying has commenced.
No skid drama, at any rate!
A good holiday so far
We have had a good holiday so far. I sent everybody their Christmas money and said we weren't getting together this year, ostensibly because of covid but after our quiet holiday last year, DH and I decided it would always be that way. Today, we are going by SGD's to take her baby's gift then to the casino! Tomorrow, GD and BF are stopping by. Saturday, I'll go in to see my mom who is in long term. Haven't heard from SD60 yet but like Clove, I know there will be some kind of drama from her before it's over.
This year will be DH and me,
This year will be DH and me, SS19, SD28 and her hubby and 2 kids. DH asked me to put on a smaller spread since there won't be as many of us, but I still have to get up early on Christmas to start the ham. It will be good to see the kids.
