Mob of kids at a party yesterday. Dogs collected at my feet (I am redolent of Eau de Dog Slave). 4 year old I've never met oomes to play with doggies. So it's all happening virtually in my lap which is the height of the 4 year old as he crouches to pet the doggies.

I admire his cuteness cuz he's super cute cuz 4.

Then he squinches up his face in distress, "eww!"

CGU: "Aw, did the dog lick your face?"

R4YO: (Becomes aware of my existence/nods head "yes")

CGU: (hoping to get a laugh from cutie-pie) "Well, you can lick him back!"

Random 4 year old stares at me, looks worried. Wrenches his neck and contorts his body to the rear. CGU thinks he hasn't understand her in the clamor of the mob-o-kids, repeats herself: "You can lick him back!"

Kid wrenches and contorts more, very puzzled. Finally speaks up, "I didn't know there were licks on my back!?"

Hahahaha! Kiddies can really be so cute!
