So we've been sitting here for over four months since DH lost his job, with BM doing everything in her power to avoid paying us CS (we have 50/50 custody) or the money she owed us for her share of expenses. The last week of January we were supposed to have court and I kid you not, an hour before the hearing she decided that she would stipulate to pay CS and the reimbursement amount. Well DH hadn't heard anything from BM since that....tick tock. We have our lawyer contact her stating "umm where's the signed court document you said you had?" Her lawyer, "oh sorry, been very busy. We'll send it over today." Sure enough yesterday DH had to go sign the papers. The joke is, she Supposedly signed the stipulation January 7th (a full three weeks prior to the court date). I guess she is playing a very expensive game of chicken! The sad thing is that all of this could have been avoided if she had simply agreed to the stipulation we had sent over back in November (where ironically she would have paid us less CS), but no we have to "fight" over everything.
