Today is my 51st Birthday. . . and of course GG forgot it

He thought it was this Saturday. :jawdrop: OF COURSE he remembers all of his PASed out spawn's b-days including the one last Sunday (VD SD now 13)

This isn't the first time he's forgotten either. The first year we were together he forgot it then; but still managed to remember his three "angels" b-day. He DOES tend to forget the oldest b-day (Brainiac SS15) as he has a "thing" against the oldest born in any family (GG was the baby; he has a "soft spot" for the baby of the family) And of course I"m the oldest in my family and I have a "soft spot" for the oldest in any family; not keen on the baby of the family which includes Prince Hygiene (SS stb 9) . . .too similar to my narcissistic baby sister. . .but I digress.

RE: VD turning 13, I just kept saying "Uh, oh, she's a TEENAGER now. . ." And he just chuckled away. Of course he won't be chuckling when in three years from now on cue, she gets knocked up and drops out of HS. She's in 7th grade now and is reading at 2nd grade level. And nothing wrong with her either. Homework/classwork is strictly optional at the Behemoth's house. Nothing but vid games and Spongebob for the skiddies!!

Well Happy BD. Today is my BD as well. I "think" DH has forgotten however he forgts all birthdays including his own so I don't feel so bad. I think our kids may have tipped him off. We shall see!

Happy Birthday! Know the feeling -- I got forgotten twice when dating & still married him. So I picked wedding date to coincide / ensure it doesn't get forgotten, well lets just say I get a two-for-one deal. But skids bday was selected - c section , day after his bday. Good for them huh????

By the way, my father forgot my SM's birthday every year so I used to call him at work to remind him. I chalked it up to forgetfulness until after 2001 and then I chalked it up to being an asshole and stopped the reminder calls. Her birthday? Sept 11th.

jerkwad can't afford anything after CS, taxes and remodeling materials. He asked me "What do you want?" and I said "a superior quality bundt pan"

He thinks that SEX is a far superior present!! :sick: Um, GG it's MY birthday, not YOURS!!!

I told him I wanted a gift certificate to Sephora. :evil:

Now he has to walk into Sephora, which is totally a girly estrogen fest; something he detests! :evil:

I"m sure there will be a flower arrangement on the dining room table when I get home tonight. I will admit that GG sensed he was being an absolute ASS the last few weeks and a couple of weeks ago, he bought me a flower arrangement "just because"

It's all about THEIR bday...I'll bet money on he finds SOME way to TRY and ruin your day, can't be any attention and focus on you for a day, if isn't about THEM they lose it. Most of these guys will ruin every Holiday, their own kids bdays, spouses bdays...because it wasnt' all about them.

Gem example: my youngest son was born almost 4 wks early, the day before my ex's bday. The day OF the ex's bday, baby and I were in recovery/observation at the hospital still. He moaned and bitched over the phone that he had to stay home and BABYSIT (his OWN child-our oldest) on HIS BIRTHDAY and was SO bored and didn't get to DO anything for HIS BIRTHDAY...OH yeah he invited a friend of his over but still, they didn't get to go OUT or have a party. That was also the reason when I returned home the following day the house was a TOTAL DISASTER of a mess. I asked him about it-as the very next day he was returing to work and I was to be with a newborn and 19mo old-he YELLED and verbally berrated me for 20 mins until I was a sobbing mess on the floor (nevermind I just birthed, hormone changes, tired)...because it was bad enough it was HIS BIRTHDAY and didn't get to DO anything, he should have had to CLEAN THE HOUSE and dishes/clothes he dirtied while we were at the hospital because he was ALREADY babysitting his CHILD Smile

LOL-see what kind of people we're dealing with here? Screm them....the whole lot of abusive selfish aholes.

ENJOY YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! Treat yourself ALL week-make sure to talk about it a LOT Smile His "forgetting", hmmm, selective memory.

Happy Birthday! Perhaps for Xmas you could get your dear man a tattoo on his hand of the date of your birthday. Or even tattoo it somewhere more intimate - more pain involved!
