I also plan on accompanying my husband to the bank because we do NOT trust her (she has shown her ass at court so we know she will at a bank). Plus, I'm his wife damnit! She told him she will only meet him alone. We laughed at that because there is no way he will meet with her alone, EVER. And if she wants him to have visitation with the child (which she claims she wants) then I will always and forever be present, as his wife. I have never threatened her or the child ever--in fact I have not even seen them yet.

*quick background--my husband had a 3 nite stand and another child resulted from the affair. Although many may not agree with me, I have decided to stay with my husband and keep our family intact. He has worked thru his demons and is a changed man.

How old is the child?

Go with DH to the bank. Many banks have security guards there. Stand near the security guard when you and DH interact with her.

I understand that this is an unpleasant situation for anyone but at some point, she's got to accept it for her child. Document her behavior. DH should save & print off every email and text to and from her for court. In some cases, judges have even ordered that one or both of the parents and/or the children to get counseling. If you end up going to court, DH can look into asking the judge to order BM (and SD if necessary) to get counseling.

CaveCanem I have the utmost respect for you for even trying to make this work. Goddess knows I wouldn't have the strength to face that child at all. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm just thankful I have the rest of the week off from work because I know this will send me into a depression. This would be the first time I see either one of them, as my baby was too young for me to go to court with my husband. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, I'm going to need them. I have to try and channel my inner classy lady to get thru this.
