SD 11 Dating Drama

SD11 comes home from school the other day and completely out of the blue tells us she has a boyfriend. For weeks before this she was telling us she had a crush on a totally different kid. Now some random kid we haven't heard of is her boyfriend. Okay, whatever, pre-teen, middle school crushes/dating. I get it.

I need noise cancelling headphones.

SD 11 is/has been with us all weekend. She's had a friend over, which I normally prefer because then she gives her dad and I at least a little privacy being busy with her friend, but I seem to forget that the downside of this is how LOUD she is when she has a friend over. Constantly screaming/yelling, thumping, crashing things all over. The fake "falling/sliding/tripping" for reactions then bursting out in booming laughter constantly. Messing with the dog to get him all worked up/barking and just the general NON STOP TALKING  between them.

Validating Conversation with Sis-in-Law

I had a super validating conversation with my (soon to be) sister in law at my home for Christmas gathering.

My fiancés daughter (11) was the first born grandchild, the only other two grandchildren are 6 & 4. I was talking with their mom (my fiancés brother's wife) and I was venting a little about my fiancés family (she totally agrees and gets it & has been around for 16 years vs my 3 years) but something got brought up that I have always thought/saw and that is the fact that my fiancés daughter is totally favored and gets special treatment from the grandparents.

Anyone else need to drink an insane amount of mimosas to deal with your in-laws coming over for Christmas?! LMAO!

His entire family was here all day and I'm totally whooped! 
Holidays are almost over! *wacko*

I feel absolutely awful all the time about the way I feel towards my 11 year old SD but I feel like I can't control these feelings and don't have anybody to talk to that truly understands.

I do not have any children of my own but my fiancé has an 11 year old daughter. We live together and she is with us 40% of the time. She is an only child.
