I am not looking forward to the next 16 years...not at all. It could just be the PMS talking but I feel like I am losing my effing mind!

Before I moved in to this house it was a MESS! As in strictly bachelor pad zone, beer bottles, 2 inches of built up grease on the stove that took THREE steel wools and a bottle of cleaner to take care of, drunk friends passed out on couches because they would come over and party all night ect ect.

Not step related but I really need some help! And google is useless on this one :/

Anybody out there have a puppy or had a puppy at some point??

We have a 15 week old beagle/rott mix ( I know, weird lol). We rescued her from a puppy rescue when she was 8 weeks old. So far, she has been doing really well, we crate train her at night, she has minimal accidents in the house and she is generally very calm.

Another post got me thinking about the future...

hmmm, I don't know about the rest of you but I always thought college was a privilege...NOT a right?

Just thinking about the future, BM is insane (shocking, I know) and I just know eventually this will be an issue and SO will be paying for it of course.

Mind you, we have an account for SD (now 2yearsold) that we put birthday money and extra in for college most likely...idk what Im trying to say.

So Im sitting here reading through the blogs when I get a text from a random number that I've never seen before. It says "I have your child outside by your car, come get her."

I looked outside by the car just in case BM suddenly turned into a maga psycho and dropped SD off or something (I can only wish)...nope LOL

I texted back, wrong number, no random child out by my car, sorry.

LOLOLOL. Kinda feel bad for whoever was waiting for their child and never got that text.

Co-Parenting Issues

This isn't that big of a deal but I could use some advice because it is frusterating me. I feel like its a sign of things to come in the future when SD is older and wonder if anyone can tell me how to handle this NOW so I can pass it on to SO.

Anyway, we get SD every Sunday overnight and every other Friday overnight, and every other Friday from 5-9.

What should he say??

Ew. BM texted SO this morning asking "do you want to go to the circus with me and SD?"

umm obviously the answer is hell no.

But we are trying to be nice if only so she looks like a bigger dingbat when we take her back to court. When is she going to get it through her head that they are not a big happy family like she seems to think? They were never married, barely dated but she has this whole mentality "well he ruined my life by knocking me up so the least he can do is stay with me and our family"....no.
