This is rediculous...My stomach is in friggin knots.

I hate this crap so much. DH started a new job recently and cant be asking for time off unless its for really important things. He wouldn't be able to make it in time to pick up SD today so its up to me which is usually fine since most of the time its SDs stepfather who drops her off or picks her up and hes always neutral, never rude to DH or myself. But being this is a day BM has off as far as I know Im sure it will be her skanky ass dropping SD off and expecting DH to be there so she can bitch at him in person or flip him off again. I literally get so wound up about how things might go that my stomach is knotting up more as I watch the time get closer. This woman makes me so angry (as Im sure most of you know by now), gets my adrenaline pumping before I even know for sure if Im going to see her. And I know, his kid, I don't need the stress, tell DH to do it. Well it doesn't always work out that way and we try to work together as a team for our family regardless. Normally I wouldn't be as bad but after their texting war over the past couple days Im sure shes heated and ready to run her mouth. She hasn't many times to me cuz I shut her down and don't take her screaming bullshit. I think she knows if she was to get in my face I have about a foot of height on her so it wouldn't work out real well in her favor }:) . It has to be one of the hardest things in the world for me to see her face and not be able to pound the shit out of it. But of course I always play nice infront of SD. Even when BM is rude I keep my cool even though Im shaking like a leaf with anger....just want to get this shit over with and get home to a cold glass of wine...ahhhhh

That is a good idea to take

That is a good idea to take someone with you, she may be less likely to show her ass if she sees someone else in the car. Or you could have 911 dialed on your phone and ready to hit send if she starts acting up. OR you could have the video recorder on your phone ready so if she acts up you have proof in case you need it in court!

You know I should have

You know I should have thought of that sooner! Although I cant think of anyone who isn't busy with work or kids on a thur. I brought my sister (even taller than me...lol) with me once and her daughter who is about the same age as SD. Even with everyone getting out of the cars and saying hello the exchange went really quickly and BM was mad polite..lol...damn! I really wish I had thought of this ahead of time!

I think asking a cop to be there would actually just cause more drama in the next couple weeks then its worth honestly. I might try the having someone on the phone thing though. Maybbe Ill just get lucky and it wont be BM...crossing my fingers and out the stupid door I go. Hopefully I wont have a crazy story for you all later!
